MAE Mailroom

The MAE Mailroom is responsible for the delivery of packages within the department once they are received from UPS, FedEx, DHL, Airborne, etc. The Mailroom also serves as the location where packages are sent and received by the carriers.

How to Ship a Package

  • Have the package completely packed and ready to be given to the shipper.
  • Have the necessary shipping label attached to the package to be shipped
  • FedEx Shipping Labels can be obtained from Jan R. (MAE-A) or Genevieve (MAE-B)
  • Bring the package to MAE-C 133 if the packages needs to go out ASAP
  • Call 392-7591 and we will pick up your package during our normal delivery rounds.
  • Package Delivery

  • Package delivery is normally scheduled twice a day (Morning and Afternoon)
  • Once the package is received by the mailroom and logged, we will deliver it to you
  • What type of Mail is not handled through our office

  • Regular USPS Mail and UF Campus Mail
  • Due to the limited number of people that work in the Mailroom, at times it may become necessary for us to remain in the mailroom and wait for deliveries to be made. During times like this, we may not ba able to come by and pick up a package for shipment or deliver a package immediately to you. We will try to do our best.
